Last week, Nintendo launched Super Mario Run, its new mobile Super Mario game. It is available on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) and can be downloaded for free. The title is free-to-start, meaning you can play it without paying anything, but the full game costs $10.
What’s new with this Mario?
In Super Mario Run, Mario automatically runs to the right, and the player can jump by tapping on the screen. The title will involve network multiplayer capable of pitting players from all over the world against each other, and will have a free and paid part.
Super Mario Run is one of five titles planned by Nintendo for smartphones launching next year, in partnership with DeNA – the number does not include Pokémon GO, which is developed by Niantic.
